New home
In 2021, the company TrendTec UG (limited liability) moves into the new office building in Mannheimer Str. Customers such as the state of Saxony-Anhalt are acquired.
Pandemic - EasyELearning
At the beginning of the pandemic, Oliver Kölsch developed a communication platform for schools, which is used for example by the Lessing-Gymnasium Mannheim. The development is carried out in close coordination with the schools.
Data protection, QM, security
The founder Oliver Kölsch makes efforts to expand the service portfolio. Several qualification measures and cooperations are initiated.
TrendTec corporation
TrendTec UG (limited liability) is founded as the successor to TrendTec Einzelgesellschaft. The company now specialises in the customisation of e-commerce processes and online shops.
Change from Flash to JavaScript
The skills perfected in Flash AS3 over the years are now being adopted in JavaScript. The similarity of the languages (ActionScript 3 and JavaScript, both ECMAScript variants) made the changeover quite easy.
Software development
In 2008 at the latest, TrendTec concentrated on providing services in the field of software development, especially individual software and e-commerce.
Service provider
From 2000 onwards, the company Omega Hard- und Software is continued under the name TrendTec. The company develops from a pure hardware supplier to a service provider. In the years that followed, the company worked intensively with the University of Mannheim, where it sold several liquid-cooled servers.
Cooperation
Omega Hard- und Software delivers the first large hardware order to a public body (school) and intensifies the cooperation.
Foundation
OMEGA Hard- & Software was founded by Oliver Kölsch at the age of 18. The company dealt with consulting and customisation of IT hardware for end users.
